The vötschtechnik® continuous oven system forms a reliable part of your production line. It can be equipped with a wide variety of conveyor systems. It is particularly suitable as a component for heat treatments in automation lines. Our continuous oven systems are either available as modules or are tailor-made. The air flow is horizontal, vertical or is blown in from both sides. Three different treatment space widths, 750 mm, 1000 mm and 1500 mm are available in the modular design version. The modules have a treatment space length of 1000 mm, 2000 mm and 3000 mm. The desired length of the oven is achieved by coupling the modules.

The continuous systems from vötschtechnik® represent in every respect special apparatus engineering. They are designed to meet the requirements of your application processes. VHM Hephaistos - Patented Microwave Technology

The Research Project

The VHM Hephaistos microwave system was developed in cooperation with the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). It is the result of a joint development project sponsored by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). Alongside KIT, the Composite Research Center of EADS in Munich, the Institute for Aircraft Design (IFB) at the University of Stuttgart, GNK Aerospace in Munich and Vötsch Industrietechnik were involved in the project.

Microwave system

In the future on one wavelength! The “VHM Hephaistos” microwave system from Vötsch is an internationally patented system. Fast and energy-efficient production processes are possible by using microwaves. The system is characterised by the hexagonal geometry with a very high field homogeneity. One of the principal areas of application is the thermal shaping of fibre composite materials (CFKs) for the aerospace and automotive industries.
